Curious About AI? Have You Tried Chat GPT or Gemini but Responses are Generic or Fall Flat?
This isn’t about hype. It’s about taking the guesswork (and some fear) out of AI and giving you the tools to save time, keep your classes fresh, and stay ahead of the curve in our industry. This in-depth 6-hour course, you’ll go from curious (or confused) to confident , learning how to use AI properly as a tool for planning your classes without feeling like AI will replace instructors.
-
We’ll start at the very beginning, giving you the confidence to understand the language of AI without tech overwhelm.
-
We’ll move into hands-on practice: how to use AI to build drills, design playlists, plan entire classes, and even map out combo formats like Spin + Strength.
-
We'll dive into understanding Bias in AI (and Why It Matters for Instructors)
-
You’ll see exactly how to write prompts that avoid generic, boring responses, and instead produce creative, professional-level ideas that still sound and feel like you.
-
You'll learn how to use Large Language Models like AI tools like Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini, Co-Pilot and More as just tools to help you, not replace you!
-
By the end, you won’t just know how to “try AI.” You’ll know how to use it properly, safely, and effectively—with enough depth that you’ll feel confident showing other instructors how to do the same.

AI Is Not Going to Replace Fitness Instructors, But We Can Use It As a Cool Tool!
In the past few years, AI (Artificial Intelligence) seems like it is every where from Spotify, to Coaching Apps, and Music apps. Like anything, it can be easy to fear something new or get frustrated with it.
You have probably used ChatGPT before, maybe to write something, answer a question, or just play around. But what is it really? ChatGPT is what is called a large language model. It has been trained on an enormous amount of text so it can understand and generate human-like responses. Think of it as a really smart prediction machine for words.
But what does that have to do with teaching indoor cycling? A lot, actually. The same tool that can draft an email can also help you create playlists, brainstorm drills, write class descriptions, and save hours of prep time while keeping your coaching style at the centre.
→ Think of Spotify. It already uses AI to build playlists for you. Sometimes it gets it right, but other times the suggestions fall flat or just miss the vibe you want. ChatGPT works the same way. The answers can be amazing, or they can come up short. The real power is in learning how to prompt. Once you know what to ask and how to ask it, the ideas, music, and class inspiration it generates can feel like magic.
And that is exactly what we will explore together in this fun filled interactive LIVE online workshop.
